Integrating Applauz with Okta

Applauz administrators can integrate Applauz into their Okta account. This way, employees can sign into Applauz with their Okta account information.

Supported Features

The Applauz Okta integration allows logging into the Applauz platform using SP-initiated SSO flow.

Configuration Steps

In your Okta’s administration, go to Applications > Application > Add Application and look for Applauz.

Once you’ve found it, click on “Add”. This will add Applauz to your list of apps

Enter the Applauz app integration you’ve just added to your Okta.

On the “Sign On” tab, you’ll need to retrieve 3 pieces of information: Client ID, Client Secret and Domain. These will be used to enable SSO through Okta on your Applauz platform.

As the administrator, log into Applauz and go to Program > Integrations.

At the bottom, you’ll see a panel (see photo below) for Okta with fields to add in the Client ID, Client Secret and Domain that you’ve collected in the previous step. Make sure that the domain doesn’t contain “https://”.

Now you’ve enabled login with Okta SSO on Applauz.

To log in: (All employees)

On the login page of Applauz, click on “Login with Okta”
In the modal that appears, enter the subdomain of your Okta organization

This will redirect you to your organization’s Okta and you will be asked to enter your username and password. If you are already logged in, you will be redirected to Applauz.

Once you authenticate, you’ll be redirected back to Applauz with your session.
