Note: There are no in-app notifications for system-generated content.

Recognition Creation

  • In-app notification sent to people that were recognized
  • Email notification to the recognized user
  • Slack notification to the organization when the visibility is set to everyone

Post Creation

  • In-app notification sent to everyone that can see the post
  • Email notification to everyone that can see the post if the setting to set the email to everyone was set when creating the post
  • Slack notification to the organization when the visibility is set to everyone

Poll Creation

  • In-app notification sent to everyone that can see the poll
  • Email notification to everyone that can see the poll if the setting to set the email to everyone was set when creating the poll
  • Slack notification to the organization when the visibility is set to everyone

Normal Content Creation

  • in-app notification to the post author that the comment is on
  • in-app notification to recognized users of the post the comment is on

Award Comment Creation

  • in-app notification to the post author that the comment is on
